CAMPING

This weekend we went camping. It was our first time with 2 kids, eek crazy is the best word for it. Jeter just wanted to crawl EVERYWHERE, and Felps is such a wandering kid that we kept losing him. We went with the Merrel's and their kids, so they helped round him up a time or two. Thanks guys for the great weekend. Even thought we ditched out early.

This was Jeter's best friend during the weekend. He would just chase Rooney around, It was so cute. He loved that dog, but not Felps, he was pretty scared of him.

I got so sick of pulling rocks and sticks out of his mouth and cleaning his hands because there was no way he was staying on a blanket, or in my lap. That finally I just put socks on his hands so he could not pick up anything. It went really well next time I am just going to bring gloves.

I promise that Felps and Jared were there to, but in the middle of the night Felps would not calm down so Jared drove him back home like at 3 in the morning. Jeter was a champ and slept right through it all. Jared did not get back until way later that day, and apparently when they were gone was the only time I had the camera out. So there is a reason that only Jeter got pictures taken and not that he is my favorite child.

Quite awhile ago my mom took us all to the Hogle Zoo. Thanks mom you are the best , we all had tons of fun. This is us all by the gorilla.

This is Ty and his turtle, the kid loves his turtles!! He has 2 pet ones (by pet I mean stuffed animals) that are named Slow and Turtle.

OUR FIRST POOL!!!

O'Ya Felps is living the high life with his very own Backyard Pool!!
Or It was something I came up with to keep him in the backyard, so I could just sit and read my book without getting up. That's right I dug a huge mud hole just so I could sit and read, but in my defence it is a really good book. Poor Jeter missed out both times due to naps, but Felps loved it. To bad the landscapers are coming soon, they are totally going to bury our AWESOME pool!

He had mud everywhere so we did the naked hose down before we came in the house, he did not like that to much. I am not sure why he would not like freezing cold water sprayed at him, WEIRD!! Don't worry one day I will make it up him and actually buy a real pool.

TWO YEARS OLD!!!

Well Felps is now 2 and I am not sure how I feel about it. I mean I have always been so excited for each milestone you know siting, crawling, walking, turning 1. I just could not wait for them to come, now I don't want any more to come it just means he will not be little forever. It just came to fast, I know I will probably be here when he is 20 saying the same thing.

Sorry about that sad note, it really was a great birthday, at least for me I can't really speak for Felps. Jared made the cake now that he is the stay at home dad. I bought this cute birthday hat for Felps to wear and while I was putting it on I flipped him with the rubber band oops, hence the tears rolling down the face. Thanks to all that came Felps loves all his presents, and I thank you because it has giving him something to play with and to wear!!!

Felps could not figure out that the truck goes backward so if you crash it you can reverse to get it moving again. He would always go and pick it up and place it back down some where else over and over again.

Just teaching him that yes it can go backward!!

Talk about 2 year attitude!!!

FAVORITE TOYS!!

Everyone knows that no matter how the cool the toy is you buy for your kids they are going to like that darn box it came in better. Or in my kids case the random things they find on the floor. I give the lid to the Pam spray to Jeter to play with, he will chase that thing all around the kitchen floor. He is not crawling yet so he Army crawls all around on his belly. Sometimes I sprinkle treats on the floor so it is like a Easter egg hunt for him. I'm not above letting my kids eat off the floor.

Then I just leave this mirror on the floor and when he finds it he gets really excited, so cute!!

Felps even joins in on the fun!!

Then his all time favorite toy is my straws to my swiger mugs, he will play with them forever!!

He has even learned to suck the water out and gags himself. Look familiar Stef and BeeZ. Thanks to Stef I still have one, it's perfect still to this day

Most of the time I just give him the lid, pure enjoyment!! I know I like them also!!

Well that sums up Jeter's day in a nut shell.

UGH!!!

These are our before pictures of our yard!! Surprisingly we have been working in it all ready although it does not show. It is basically all weeds, but it does have potential. We have a lot of work ahead of us, UGH, UGH!! But just wait till the soon coming after pictures!!!

Its those darn stick to your socks even through the wash and the carpet even through vacuuming weeds. Which does make you feel like you are out in the mountains, kinda fun, but not fun enough to not plant grass!!

This pic is the last shot before the buzz cuts come into play. I took Felps somewhere and they cut it. I thought it was so cute on him that Jeter needed one. I saw how they did Felps so I was sure that I could do Jeter's. I just wanted to do a little off the top and then a little more came off and then a little more came off. I just kept going I could not stop, poor kid. Pretty soon he was almost totally shaved. It looks fine in the pictures, but you can"t see the deep lawnmower tracks all over his head. It looks really bad

I had to complete his bouncer look with his first tat!! Hopefully it's not a sign of things to come!!
